While this Site uses links to other websites, including other sites managed under Hyperdivergent.com, Goin' Gardening is not responsible for the privacy policy practices of those other sites.

If you've linked Joanne's Recipe with a social media account or through a social media account, we also collect information those social media networks provide to us. Depending upon the social media network, this information can include your user name, email address, friends list, and more. Additionally, we may collect demographic information when users interact with Goin' Gardening' social media accounts. Note that we may not use any of this information or store it for any length of time. See storage options below.

Our Policy on Sensitive Information

Goin' Gardening will never gather information such as your Social Security number, driver's license number, race, ethnicity, religion, health metric, political affiliations, or details on any criminal backgrounds. That is not our job.

HOW LONG DO WE STORE YOUR INFORMATION?

We may store your user name and/or real name, and email address for a long period of time, depending upon how we might need to use that information. We only keep your billing information on file until any financial transaction between Goin' Gardening and you are completed. This courtesy does not extend to third-party vendors and affiliate markets. For instance, if you purchase pots and pans through our affiliate link to Google, then Google's privacy policy will apply, not ours.

NOTE: When you provide personal information to Goin' Gardening, you provide consent to opt in to communications such as emails and newsletters. You will always have the option to opt out of any emails, newsletters, or other communications at any time.

INFORMATION SECURITY

We do our best to keep your private information secure. Most of your personal information is encrypted and, therefore, protected from outside users. However, we all know how clever some users can be, and data leaks and malicious attacks do occur. Please understand that we protect you to the best of our ability. Additionally, our server host, Google, has protections in place as well. That said, when you provide your personal information to anyone online, you are placing your information at risk. There is no way that we can guarantee the protection of your private information through third-party vendors, but we do our best to choose vendors who have a long history of privacy control traditions.

Goin' Gardening is owned and operated by Linda Goin through Hyperdivergent.com. Currently, there are no other volunteers or employees who interact in this endeavor, which adds to the safety of your information. That said, by using this Site, you agree that Goin' Gardening will have no liability for disclosure of your information due to errors in transmission or unauthorized acts of third parties.

This Site provides services including the offering of recipes, links to purchase merchandise, and advice about cooking and about using alternative ingredients in recipes. This information is for educational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatments.
